Water Fitness & Aqua Aerobics
Got a pool in your backyard or know someone who does? Let’s make a splash with a fun, no-impact full-body workout set to great music! Water fitness is one of the safest and most effective ways to build strength, improve flexibility, and boost cardiovascular health all while being gentle on your joints.
Melanie provides all the equipment needed for a personalized aquatic workout. Whether you’re interested in one-on-one sessions or small group aqua aerobics classes, each workout is designed to meet your fitness level and goals.
Currently, she teaches group water fitness classes at the Andover/Merrimack Valley YMCA and at Nichols Village, a private independent living community in Groveland. Melanie also offers private pool sessions throughout the Merrimack Valley and North Shore areas.

Experience a total-body workout using your own body weight for resistance. TRX Suspension Training is a highly effective, portable fitness system designed to build strength, burn fat, and improve balance and flexibility in one session.
Using two adjustable suspension straps with handles and foot cradles anchored to a door, ceiling, or frame, this system sets up in seconds and can travel anywhere. Each session can be modified for your fitness level; from beginner to advanced by simply changing your body angle to increase or decrease resistance.
